QUALIFICATIONS 1 Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent prior experience.
2 Satisfactorily pass drug screens, criminal background check, adult & child maltreatment check, FBI checks as required by BBDCS and other licensing agencies.
ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES AND RESPONISIBLITIES 1 Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and public relations strategy.
2 Responsible for development, coordination, maintenance, and implementation of an annual fund-raising program.
3 Maintain website and update with pictures on a quarterly basis.
4 Maintain 2 Face-book pages, Instagram, and Twitter with pictures and event announcements.
5 Participate in marketing/public relations events such as Cabot-fest.
Develop and coordinate volunteers and attend events.
6 Plan and supervise two (2) major fund-raising events each year (1 for each Lonoke/Cabot Centers) and also assist with smaller events.
7 Develop and grow our individual donor base; manage an annual giving campaign; create database to track donors.
8 Assist Executive Director in arranging meetings and preparing presentations for civic groups as needed.
9 Develop a campaign to increase public awareness of BBDCS Services in all service areas.
10 Develop a public service video clip for promotions.
11 Assist with creating and implementing an annual development plan and strategy.
12 Assist Executive Director in developing fund-raising goals each year.
13 Manage expense budgets for all fundraising, public relations, and communications efforts.
14 In consultation with program staff and the Executive Director, assist in preparation of grant proposals.
15 Serves as the Coordinator of the Imagination Library of Lonoke County.
16 Assist Executive Director in preparing an annual report.
17 Identify and pursue foundation support.
18 Participate in local Chambers including attending meetings and banquets to promote BBDCS services:
( Lonoke, Cabot, England, Beebe) 19 Adhere to BBDCS's HIPAA Policy regarding privacy and security of protected health information (PHI) 20 ALL OTHER ASSIGNED DUTIES TO PERFORM THIS JOB SKILLS SATIFACTORIALLY A LANGUARE SKILLS-ability to speak, read and communicate the English Language, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, handbooks, reports, correspondence, files, etc.
Must speak effectively before groups of consumers, employees, and other groups as needed.
B MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
C Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commons since understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problem solving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
D Other skills or abilities:
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of behavior modification methods, the ability to analyze consumer problems and behaviors and understanding of operational procedures and the ability to help consumers work through problem solving.
